In Colorado Springs, about two hours from Ft. Collins, if you are in the intersection you are fair game. I usea to see it all the time. As soon as the light turns green everyone is off like a bat out of hell.
Colorado has some of the worst drivers I've ever seen, not saying anything about Austin.

from the way you described the accident, it sounds like you crossed on a red? some people will give you the courtesy of a free pass, like that driver in the right lane, but if someones coming through and they never stopped for the light change, they wont have half a chance to avoid you..

g'luck.. i feel your pain.. im recovering from an engine swap.. seeing your car in pieces is the worst pain..

Thanks everyone for you concern and comments. As far as parts go, FluidSVT is going to buy the car from me, engine and all, but I was able to pull of the MAF w/ optimizer and filter. Once I reach a point of knowing what I won't need I will post them in the classifieds or if you check back in about a week or two or even PM me, I should have more of an idea. Thanks again

Man that sucks. Glad your as good off as you are since seeing those pics it appears you got off lucky. Even though Contiques seem to hold up very well in most accidents.
