OK well here's what happened:

It was Monday evening and I was just leaving track. I was coming up to an intersection with a turn arrow that was green, as I approched the intersection it turned yellow, and by the time I came to a complete stop I was in the middle of the intersection. I waited in the intersection for the light to turn yellow and hopefully all the Fort Collins idiots would obey the law and stop. Anyways, the light turned yellow, then red, and I saw a car in the right hand lane stop, so I proceded to make my turn. Then about 1/3 of the way into my turn I heard a horn, and I had no time to look, I just instinctually got in the fetal position and closed my eyes. When I opened my eyes I didn't know where I was, and when I got out of the car I realized that I had done a complete 180(on dry pavement) and was up on the grass with two wheels hanging over the sidewalk. In the process of my spin I managed to knock a street light pole, which is why the back part of the car is damage. I had to go to the hospital but was released as being OK. I ended up having a cut knee from my keys' and a bad seat-belt burn and some cuts in my hand from the passenger window glass. And that is how my car ended up looking like it does now. I'm really gonna miss this car , but seeing how well it stood up to a wreck like this I will most likely get another Contour. So I can basically say this WEAR YOUR SEAT BELT! If not I wouldn't have been hear today.
