Don't know about the first or second one but, I assume I need a new DPFE to fix the third "fail".
My Mystique always reports a failure here too.  The EGRDNHDIS always contains the same number as the EGRUPHDIS, which, of course, means that one or the other will always fail.  I'm sure if there really was a problem, I'd get error codes.

This isn't the only place in this section where failures are always shown.  It also always tells me that my bank two catalytic converter os bad (I don't have a bank two catalytic converter) and that I am getting 100% misfires on cylinders five through eight (on a four-cylinder motor).

I strongly suspect that the EGRDNHDIS/EGRUPHDIS test is a test that the PCM performs, even though it's not applicable, to this particular car, and that this is why it reports failures here just as it does for the nonexistent bank two catalytic converter and cylinders five through eight.

Moonlight Blue 1996 Mercury Mystique GS , Zetec engine, ATX.  No mods. (Well, OK, one mod.  Before I got rid of my previous car, a 1994 Tempo, I swapped radios.  I liked the Tempo's radio better.  That counts as a mod, doesn't it?  I also kept one of my Tempo's wheels to use as a spare.  I hate those stupid ?compact? spares that come with modern cars.  Does this count as a mod?  If so, I guess I have two mods.  Replaced burned/melted blower switch and connector on 19 February 2002 with a 1P3T toggle switch from Marvac and a Molex connector from Rat Shack; I guess this now makes three mods.)
