Last night while driving I noticed that my gauge wasnt lit up and my lights were on. I checked my dimmer, no problem there. It seems the lights went out or something. Could it be a fuse or do I have to go in there and replace whatever bulbs are in there??

I have noticed something similar with my car, the top of the tach seems to be dimmer then the rest of the dash, I am guessing that it is just a burned out light since I seem to remember it being brighter. I would put a new light in but I am not really interested with taking my dash apart and it doesn't bother my that much

IIRC the dash is all on one fuse with the tail lights?

I just installed a new head unit, i had everything hooked up, started up the car, but no power to the head unit. My interior lights and clock werent working either, I replaced the fuse and everything came back to life. Radio is supposed to be on its own fuse, that one was fine but the one for interior lights was blown. I remember seeing a fuse for the gauges in my 98 SVT. I'd check that before I'd try to replace a light bulb.

I have the same problem as brapple. I took my gauge cluster apart and it appears to be an internal light. Any suggestions?
