All you have to do to make it look nicer and much like a profesional "show car" install is keep the box how it is and build a new front to it. Just make a vertical peice of carpeted wood from the floor to the top of the trunk, shaped to the sides, and with two spots cut out for your subs, Mount it to the sub box and then to brackets somehow on top and bottom. This way it will cover up whatever is behind it like the strut bar and box and look like two flush mounted subs. It's hard to explain but thats my suggestion.
