What would you have rather had it called? Operation Turbanator, complete with John Williams' Imperial March theme from Star Wars playing in the background and a BBQ wagon following each APC or tank rolling into Baghdad? That would go over well long-term, wouldn't it...
I've heard that "Operation Re-elect Bush" didn't resonate well with the focus groups.

...sounds much better than "Operation Support Tyranny" that the French, Germans and Russians were apparently grandstanding with...

I will be perfectly honest and state that I was hinting for you to post a few links or something to reaffirm this, seeing as this would be BIG news. However, none exists and this is more likely than not either a rumor, propaganda, or a misguided initial report similar to our soldiers being "exposed to chemicals weapons."

http://www.bayarea.com/mld/cctimes/news/5576709.htm - story about the airplane fuselage.
Go look around news.google.com, I'm sure you'll find lots of interesting stuff.

Not good enough. Of course, we have to find them actually in the ACT of training, and then only those with C4 strapped to them and wearing black masks with AL-QAEDA stenciled in white can be considered "terrorists".
I mean, I certainly wouldn't believe what this guy says, and I'm certain that since our troops aren't coated with VX by now, this report is probably full of Western lies and deceit, too. Please take note that 200-250 tons of VX hasn't been accounted for...
...yep. Nothing to worry about there. This link is probably totally false and misleading as well. I bet nothing was held over from these places, either. Saddam most certainly destroyed everything...
I'm beginning to think we never should have gone in now. I would much rather have the father and son group running Iraq that awarded the dissenters with this . I mean, Democracy is going to totally ruin the country like it's done the US...
Well, it looks like my sarcasm battery has ran dry, so I'll just say wait, watch and listen. Something tells me we will be getting an ear-full in the coming weeks...

Maybe I'll read and reply to your whole post later, it's too long, and too much one sided, horse-blinded, regurgitated bs in one days hurts my eyes. Syria will be a little harder than Iraq, but Iran won't be a push over.
...I'll anxiously await a coherent, multi-dimensional, pinned eyelid and non-regurgitated liberal response. Hell, I've waited 16 years so far for one in many things that I've read from a liberal mindset, so another day or two won't kill me.
I wait is eager anticipation too....

Thank you, however I should have been more specific. I was referring to his first claim.

According to this guy and others with contact in middle eastern terror operations, there is no such thing as 'Al Qaeda.' So you want me to justify attacking Iraq because they may have housed members of 'Al Qaeda' when the people you get your information from say "there's no such thing" as 'Al Qaeda'? Yet the government insists on attacking 'Al Qaeda' and members of 'Al Qaeda'?

Interesting. The article is mysteriously devoid of any US involvement and takes measures to not even mention the name of the United States.
Quote:
Iraq started research into the production of chemical weapons agents in the 1970s and started batch production of agents in the early 1980s. At that stage, production was heavily reliant on the import of precursor chemicals from foreign suppliers.
Hmmm...I wonder who these foreign suppliers are? They should be tracked down and put to death.
Quote:
In 1982, early in the Iran-Iraq War, the Iraqis used riot control agents to repel Iranian attacks. They progressed to the use of CW agents in mid-1983 with mustard, and in March 1984 with tabun (the first use ever of a nerve agent in war). The Iraqis continued to use chemical weapons until the end of hostilities in August 1988; in addition they introduced the nerve agents sarin and GF late in the war.
Never mind, I see now. It was okay for them to use chemical weapons then, but two decades later they must be brought to justice for NOT using them. I bet the Iraqi people were not suffering back then either.
Quit pushing justifications at me when our hypocrisy clearly shows they have NEVER been legitimate concerns. Our government really didn't care twenty years ago. Our government really didn't care ten years ago. And our government really didn't care now.
