Although no WMD have been found yet, I believe I had stated before that it would not surprise me if we did. We helped get their WMD programs going, and I trust our intelligence community enough to know what Iraq has in their possession.
However, do you expect me to believe that Iraq and their (if they have any) WMD were such a threat to my life that they would not even use WMD to defend their very own lives? Even if Iraq had used WMD in this war, it still does not legitimize the notion that they were going to use them against us or our allies. The fact that they did not (and how long 'the war' lasted) makes it painfully evident how large a threat Iraq truly was.

If you wish to take it that way..fine...my intention was that you worry a little more (about what other countries will think) than you should. I would of said you have no testosterone if I intended the full meaning. Don't confuse the lack of local colloquisms for the lack of gonads.

Thankfully we don't have to wait 5-10 years for your theory of Iraq not being a chemical/biological threat in terms of a clearing house to pan out, one way or the other.
By the way, the shooting hasn't stopped, yet and they may still have something up their sleeve in terms of retribution on the population and the coalition soldiers...

I apologize, but you should have simply stated this then. However, if you reread my text nowhere will you see where I have stated that I care for the opinions of other countries. I merely stated (in response to your comment) that this war has put us "worse standing with a multitude of UN nations." My opinion on the importance of our standing with other nations is another matter.

A major part of the problem is the propaganda machine of the Arab world will continue to spew the one sided hate message. They will show the civilian casualties in Iraq, and not show the picture of an American Soldier helping people. The will not report that the EPW's (new speak for POW's) are being treated better by us than they were by their own leaders.
The Arab world hates us in part because of our "one sided" policy towards Israel. It has never occurred to them that if their policy was less one sided (meaning to not advocate the total annihilation of the Jewish people), our policy could and would be different.
-- not to mention that the major groups of Iraqis seem to hate each other as much as they hated Hussien, and can't get along with Turkey (a well-named State if ever there was one) or Iran. Changing the regime is a laudable goal, but I do not expect the next one to be a lot different than the last hundred.

5-10 yrs? Come on man. Canada could be our enemy in 5-10 for all we know. The way Bush and Rumsfeld put it Iraq was an immediate threat and they must be disarmed NOW! But then they changed it to operation Iraqi Freedom. LOL what a farse. Looks like all the gas masks and anti chem/bio agents were put to good use. Dogding those WMDs were pretty tricky for our boys while they were risking their lives securing those oil fields prior to looking for any terrible wmds.
Now that we've spent at least $75 billion! liberating Iraq you best believe not only the US gov is going to get back there money plus some in those secured Iraqi oil fields, but so will all the private contractors the US is going to use to help rebuild Iraq. The same thing that's going to happen in Afghanistan. Oh yeah and they're in love with us right now...NOT. And of course they love the interim gov we put in place for them, they're just playing around with the assasination attempts on their appointed President...they really like him. And yeah, of course oil was only a small reason for going to war in the middle east we were just securing those oil fields first to make sure the Iraqi people can profit from their own wealth. Reallly though, if you think the the value of the Iraqi oil to the US gov/corporations were not a MAJOR objective to the war on terrorism...I mean operation iraqi freedom despite the other objectives you're in denial. You could have followed that in any unbiased reporting.
*pre-emptively starts swinging blindly in the direction of anyone who might not completely agree*
And all the propagandist displays of the shiites (who hate the sunnis) marching in streets celebrating their new found liberation is a nice touch.
I'm taking wagers on whose next. Iran or Syria. $5 bucks says Syran.
