True, but I think its dangerous to make broad generalizations about an entire nation. Sadaam is not the only Middle-Eastern leader to openly denounce the US, just the most flamboyant in recent history. Flag-burnings occur in countries that have officially supported us in the past, and in the current conflict.
I do agree that tens of millions of people who were oppressed by the Baath party are now much happier than they were, but it doesn't necessarily mean that everyone loves us. Despite what we may want to believe, there are Baath loyalists and supporters. There were people who might have been better off under Sadaam's rule. There are probably people who would rather have a crazy Muslim in power than a government put in place by Western Christians. These people will continue to exist after this conflict is over, and will always be a threat.

But FWIW, those that hate us still hate us. I think we gained more friends than enemies on this one (excluding the French of course).
Everyone didn't love us before and I don't think too much has changed in that sense. However, I think some countries may think twice about supporting terrorist after this. Sometimes it is good to have a "Cowboy" as president.

I'd kiss the American flag too if it meant I was in good favor with my current occupiers and my starving family would get fed. They may be kissing the flag now, but how long do you think before they start burning it and telling us to get the hell out of their country?

 Are you serious? Yes, the entire Middle East already hated us so it does not matter if they hate us more, but we have put ourselves in worse standing with a multitude of UN nations.

YOU realize that we have discovered at least 3 terrorist training camps...the Northern Iraq Al Queada camp (with the ricin), the camp with the airliner fuselage for highjacker training, and today south of Bahgdad, a PLO camp....
The WMD will obviously require Iraqis themselves to point out the locations. The inspectors proved that random fumbling about in the desert will mot find anything..give it a LITTLE time anyway before calling this a failure....the "inspectors" got 12 years before we called them a failure.
Like I have been saying all along...lets just see what happens..maybe the Iraqi people will tolerate us better than some expect.

Powell is/was right. Not because he said it, but because it's true. We will find more links to Al Queda now that we have taken Baghdad.
To truly be a leader, you cannot worry what other people think. You do what you believe is right. I believe the US is right. It is ashame you are missing the point of this war. You may need to check your testosterone levels. IMHO of course.
