As for the liner, I will most likely put another one on. I still drive to the Kawarthas a fair bit, and find too much noise fatiguing. Still love the sound of the SVT Duratec, but in not too big of a dose. I know, if it's too loud, I'm too old....;)

I once found a dead mouse in the air filter box of my dad's old Audi, and we found a nest in the interior fan of his Mazda. Country livin'.......

I am dealing with other noises as well. The rear drivers' side door weatherstrip is giving me issues as well. The list of things to fix on this car is growing.
