how bout a day we all get together for a group pic. all cars lined up or some pattern or something. all cars clean and shiny. i gues, owners too!

also, was thinking a shot while on the freway or soemthing.
im thinking, a minivan on the left side with the sliding door open while someone takes a pic. and one by one each car moves up and gets several pics taken.
it has to be really correographed. maybe at 40mph it shuld look decent.

I like that idea...the minivan deal may rub the law enforcment RAW...lol....im thinking how about a highway trip....highway 1...its nice there any time of the day and im sure we could get some really good shots???

I like that Idea. I'm in Fallon Nev. untill mid May on detachment, you know the Navy thing, goto do it. But I could wizz over for that. Any body thought about doing it in Tahoe that would look cool with the mountains and all, just a thought.

Roz, hu cares about the law!, kidding. it only takes couple seconds to take several shots. it just has to be coreograped and timed right. certain part of the day and a location free of traffic. an example for the group pic is like a magazine cover pic in motor trend where they have all these cars for (ten best) u get the picture?
i actually have a video of my green drifting while doin a u turn during my lunchtime from work.

now for the moving pic, the idea is the pic is moving , with the surroundings in motion but the subject (car) on focus.
I'll try to take pics next meet and all cars must be clean and parked in a specific way.

I was actually planning on doing the moving-shot thing from a minivan for some of the Cougars, but I have yet to find time or a minivan to do it from. If you guys need a photographer who doesn't mind half hanging out the side of a van, I'll volunteer.

i can have my brother drive his minivan. so we jus need a photographer! we'll strap em in for safety. take as much pics as he can while each car passes by... wheres a good stretch of road that looks nice, least traffic and maybe 4 lanes in the bay area?

i agree dev, that car is exactly my taste, large wheels, tucked in, close tolerances with fenders, gaps, and ride height. smooth clean lines, no bs add ons. perfect proportion of wheelsize , offset, color, size etc.

next year, u will see a red CSVT with 19's at the HIN in san mateo! or i will cry!
