And about the KKM...I started with a KKM and now only use the adapter!
I went this route before and ended up with an overoiled K&N filter that caused a lot of trouble for me. I know I can clean and re-oil, but that experience just ruined this option for me. Thanks for the input though.
Just a heads up too....the KKM filter is also cleanable and re-oilable....there is a good size of after market filters that are like that now.....I have the KKM and i switched to K&N and i couldn;t be happier....what i have leared is to just spray enough oil to change the color of the filter sliglty....if it drips, i have to start all over again.
