Well since Friday my house has had no power, no telephone and no heat.

My food obviously defrosted and I am helpless to prevent any lines from freezing.

The stupid freezing rain brought down a bunch of trees in my street and it took out the whole block.

I knew it would happen sooner or later because DTE has NEVER trimmed the trees around the power lines, and the power lines for some stupid reason run thtouhg the backyars of every house, so they are intertwined with trees an what not.

This sucks, I have to go home and sit in the dark and freeze my ass off.

Friday I night I got one a plane for Charlotte, NC at 8:30pm and was scheduled to land in Charlotte at 10:30pm... As we were taxiing out to the run way the engines were sht off and the captain informed us we were on hold until the freezing rain let up. We finally took off at 11pm and I landed at 12:15am

I sat in the same seat inside a full/crowded DC-9 Jet for almost 4 FN hours...

I had to run some errands around the area today and the road crews are putting down a mix of salt and sand. Of course every truck on the road blasts my car with this slushy crap

Come to the west side mon! It's just as great. 58k ppl w/o power. I have power at my house though.

I was out the west side lastnight and drove back in the subie this morning... accident after accident on I-94. Took almost 4hrs, sat in 3 accident related traffic jams.

they should have cancelled school today....took me an hour and a half to get there today.

Todras is right. i've had no power problems yet 2 miles from lake Michigan. Rally down my road everyday!
Put it in 4 and hit the floor!

yeah it took me an hour and a half to get from southfield to troy today. g/f decided to take the winter beater which left me sliding into work with the 19's. still not as bad as driving in snow with the mustang though.
