a little while ago i replaced my exhaust with a straight pipe and supertrapps mufflers; removing the cat and the resonator. that result was way too loud, so i put a magnaflow where the cat/res would of been.
now i have decided to sell the contour. but first i would like to put the exhaust back to stock. can i just buy a cat from bat or someone and have it welded on. would it sound stock if i just put the svt mufflers on?
would a dealer have a problem accepting the car with a differnt cat converter, or are they all the same. thanks
