the engine bay of the 4 bangers i've seen, jettas, civics, etc, (admittedly, not many) has got a lot more room than the contour bay. not sure how much room a turbo takes up.

true, but like i said, i like small cars. if a 4 banger is cramped in a small car, a v8 would be stuffed.

i was debating small engine vs. big engine in a small car, i guess everyone else is debating small engine small car vs. big engine big car, probably threw some people off. ill shut up now.




As a comparison our 850 turbo is a 2.3L I-5. To get the kind of power it puts down a larger and heavier engine would have to be under the hood. With only the I-5 under there in a car larger than the tour there is plenty of room, even with the engine mounted transveresly (sp).
