I do think the post-98 lights look better, but the pre-98s do look more aggressive. The post-98 lights just make the car look so (for lack of a better word) girly.

Well seeing my car is being tossed about within this discussion, have to ad my input on why the pre-98's look more aggressive... This was taken before the corners were cleared, which now it looks 10 times more aggressive w/ the cleared corners...

I do agree that the pre-98 is better looking stock and with the svt body kit it looks tight. But if you take an SVT do outlawed SVT's eyelids, painted chrome ring and put on a pre-98 trunk there is no better looking combo imo.

I've seen a lot of aggressive looking civics, but...... a 17 sec 1/4 mile...... I guess we could keep arguing about what we think is better, but it's not going to change anyone elses opinon. So with that said, ya'll keep doing your best to look like an SVT and we'll leave it at that. The truth is, I wouldn't even have bought a contour if it weren't an svt.

So what is your quarter mile time? The SRT-4 does it in about 14.1 bone stock. My point is not everyone is trying to be the fastest out there and there are other considerations.

Wrong. With the VCT adaptor from Esslinger and custom chip, VCT is removed from my car. Now I'm essentially VCT-less with the exception of the solenoid sticking up out of the head. It's just a matter of taking it out of the equation. What can be done to your Zetec that can't be done to mine?
Back on topic, I think the pre-98s like Stolon's are the hottest Contours around. Then again, I like both styles for certain reasons.

there are pre98s that don't have a 17 sec. 1/4 mile...95 SE for instance
