It is probably a key that the dealer made and has never been used before(unless you used it). If so, the key may have some rough edges that might be getting caught on something. So just take the key and push in and pull out and just keep doing this for a while. The shavings should either fall off or just wear down enough to get passed where it is caught. At the dealership I work at, we get this problem a lot. So this should work and it may take some time.
