Well its a 99 SE with all the options, accept the sound which was added later by the first owner. The paint had next to no defects and they touched the defects up free. Not that I think it was a great deal, but I don't have any other choice now. Its been two weeks now. I'd love to take it back and say you guys blow donkey balls but I can't. Yeah I am plenty pissed about the "deal", but I broke my promise to never look for a better deal after I bought something, gives me peace of mind. Perhaps in a few years I will sell the car as this family never puts more then 55k miles on a car. Heck our 92 Topaz only had 56k and we got it with 4616 on it in 94.

I think that I got the best deal ever. Bought an 01 Escape XLS V-6 4WD with 31XXX on the odo. Listed it for 15995. Talked them down to 13995, then presented my trade-in. A 97 Honda Civic DX coupe auto 97000, got 3000 for it, told them I wanted 4000 or there was no deal. Oh well I lied, and got the escape for 10995 then put 1000 down, financed 9995 over 66 months for an itty bitty payment and a happy wife. I can't believe the lowball some dealers give, but they are trying to make money too.

you def want to find a private sale of keep the SVT to {GASP!} drive in the winter. with miles up that high on a fairly high maintenance car, the resale will not be complementary.
