As with any chasis dyno, you can't calculate, you can only guess...

I was told once (not sure if I believe it) by a Dynojet operater that he could figure out how much drivetrain loss there is by some program on the dynojet. It would let the rollers coast to a stop, and by comparing that with how fast it does it without a car on it, it can figure out drivetrain loss. I didn't beleive him, since I have never seen or heard of it being done. Also that would not take into effect the flywheel/pressure plate and damper.

I heard the same thing and I beleive its true... Couple of my friends had their dynos done that way and it was weird to see the exact 2 cars one making less hp at the flywheel actually make more at the wheels
(I didn't beleive them at first when they told me but the software somehow does an estimate)
