but can we do it or not?
can we solder 2 input wires to the unit and have the input work well?

I mean if I know where ,in the unit, to put them , why shouldn't it work?

How are you going to tell it to switch inputs ?

you can find something like this

if you wanted to (but it is about $70 the places I have seen it)

The people I know that have managed to do this know what they are doing and I think they solder on to the cassette head pickup

This was on a tape desk and it was not the ford deck so I dont know much more than that sorry.

So yes if you know how and where and how to get it to change inputs (if needed by your method) then there is no reason it should not work.

'95 Contour GL 2.0L Zetec..no mods..yet.. replaced head unit, all 4 door speakers replaced, 3 subs in trunk
