Back pedal much?

Whatever you say, it's too damn late to fix it. Don't worry, you aren't the first I've seen this come from. I've jumped Stazi's [censored] before for the same kind of thing, and I'm probably more closely tied to him than any other non-local CEGer. See the sig? It says vigilante, which means I will step forward anytime I see this kind of BS taking place.

Sure, most of the Zetec ppl. are young and don't have the $$ for a turbo ([censored], I'm 28 and don't have the $$ yet ). Sure, most bought the car because it was cheap. Doesn't mean they wouldn't drop a turbo in it if they had the cash. You also have to consider that of all cars that need to be beefed up for that kind of power adding, a Zetec'd 'tour probably requires more work than any other iteration produced. Let me count the ways:

1 - clutch
2 - LSD
3 - lowered compression (head work / pistons / etc. - choose your poison)
4 - high mileage cars like mine need to be rebuilt or have the block replaced

I'm intimately involved w/ Street Flight and their Duratec kit. Hell, I've driven Keyser's car (the prototype) around! I see it almost weekly. You think that doesn't make me want to crap my pants and get a new credit card just for FI on my car?! It does!

Now, enough explaining. I still say F U for generalizing that way. Take your elitist BS (and anyone else reading this that thinks that way) and shove it.

Well, I hope all the people who begged you to get that CAI complete don't treat you like they did Terry .

I have been asking people for some time now what exactly I need to do to prep the engine and no one knows. I even emailed ddynamics and they haven't replied. When ever I get this money from my settlement I am dumping atleast 6grand into the engine(already have a new tranny)

Keep on hatin'...the look suits you well.

Were you on the thread when Terry anounced the turbo begging for a kit ASAP? Not that I remember. So my argument excludes you.

I bet 99% of those I want it now are not a contour owner anymore. I wa sone that want's it and said I did in that thread but I got alot of other thing to take care of before I can afford it I've gotten prices from terry for the different stages and the details as to what would be done to the engine to handle the power ect ect ect. terry had mentioned a 400hp kit to be and the sticker shock almost killed me it was very little more than what I payed for my car. and that wasn't including the trans work neded to handle the HP just motor work and the turbo kit. I looking at preping the car and trans for the 300hp kit but I woon't be getting that for some time now cause of BILLS and rent that has to be payed.
