I spent 6 hours downloading it and it said Not registered..and now it won't play...whats wrong?

I think it's a DivX 5 file.

Not to be an ass or anything, but how the hell else are you going to put it on a DVD?
And a 700 MB file would fit fine on a VCD or SVCD anyway...so why even waste a DVD?
That was an awesome video, but I have one question to who may know. What program would I use to turn this .avi file (of this program) into VCD or SVCD or whatever? I have a regular CD writer on my PC. What is needed to put this on a disc. And it VCD / SVCD works on most DVD players?

i played it at home last night and it crashed my computer. i was using the DivX free player. now i have to run CHKDSK and save some files because netscape is corrupted??? what gives!!!!????

Yeah, Windows sucks like that.
Go to http://www.getright.com/ and download their free Getright download manager program. It saves all the stuff as it goes (into a file- not just into RAM), so if you crash or your connection crashes, then it will just simply resume downloading where it left off once your connection is restored. This is the only program I use for downloading megalong files since my satelite internet (AOL PCshit) connection always crashes. My connection crashed and resumed 4 or 5 times downloading this 700mb movie! But I got it. Now I just want to somehow get it onto my hometheater TV set. I found out my DVD player supports XCVD, so if I can find an encoder for that, then I could probably fit this show onto 2-3 discs. Or else I gotta buy a DVD burner

just cannot down load which keep timing out
will have to try again very early in the morning or on someones XP machine on a 100 verus 50 line
