I've been there several times and some people are pricks, but they aren't in Redline they just show up!! The guys that are actually members are great.

No need to get defensive, the impression i got was they didnt want me there which didnt make me happy. I am a very involved enthusiast, and it seemed as if the theme was a REDLINE meet, and not an enthusiast gathering. I was 16 at the time, so that might have come into play.
Oh and the idiot comment was referring to the people who do burnouts and show off by turning up their music.

Hey Scott I may have met you at our last meet, I'm not sure but just come on out because Trapps and Corbett are right, the Redline guys are cool. I kinda had preconceaved notions about what they would think about my car, seeing that its a domestic and all, but after I met Trapps and Corbett, came out to some of the meets and talked to the actual members of Redline, it was all good, trust me  Judging by your previous post you sound like you got your head on right by not wanting to do burnouts and "kickin' the BASS", more people should be like you, it would make things alot better for all of us, now if we could just do something about the muscle car people who come through and act stupid  I've been on that side of the fence and I know what they say because I used to think the same things too, that is until I got my car, met some of the people, got online and went out to some meets. Whether its FWD or a RWD muscle car, were all enthusists, right

Hey, are these meets for just anyone who wants to show, or are they just for some sort of club? I would like to meet with some other contour/mystique owners in person and talk face to face with them, myself being new to this board and all.

If you want to then go. If I hadn't gone last summer I wouldn't have learned about CEG or TH or anything contour related. Thanks Trapps!! Come this Friday, I will be there fo sho and I think SVTMike will and a couple other CEGer's. The rest will be Redline and misc. other people IE chicks in mommy's jag.....

Ohh and just to clear a few things up, like Roxy said, the meets are for everyone, import, domestic, V8, 3 Cyl, V12, bikes, mopeds, nascar (ok, mabye not nascar). Just as long as everyone keeps the music down, doesnt rev there engine too much and doesnt do burn outs and doesnt trash the lot. Everyone is really nice and you really can go up to just about anyone and talk about whatever. I am going to try to make it out there this Friday with Stazi on our way out to Pontiac.
