Here's the low down 95 SE 2.5 111 k

I replaced coil Sept/01 ran fine till last week. Then went bad again last Friday. I purchased one from AutoZone put it in on Saturday ran great till Thursday. Then driving in to work it just lost all power and ran like crap. I Replaced wires Still ran crappy thought to myself can't be the coil again. Brought to the dealer they confirmed it was. My question is why would it go bad in less than a week dealer says the part was the problem. Though I don't know where the garage got the part the first time it likley wasn't from Ford and it lasted a while.

They said if it goes bad again they will try to find the cause.

Well I pick the car up Tomorrow well see what happens. If you have any sugestions I would be happy to hear them.

Plugs It had not occured to me they could cause a coil to go bad. The dealer didn't sudjest it either. I may as well put plugs in though they don't have that many miles on them under 20 k and they were Platnums.
Thanks

Make sure you get double platinum. Single platinum plugs will get eroded quick on half the cyls.

If the plug gaps are too big, it takes tremendoes voltage to arc them. Fries a coil pack quick. Same with wires... I'd replace them again, too.
