Good luck man. I am seriously considering doing the same. They are not in Michigan yet. I am considering flying to Florida and driving one back. I am waiting to see if I can get employee pricing first. I should be able too. I have been checking out www.srtforums.com

I'm sorry, did I say something wrong?

Well frankly the 1st generation Neon R/T would keep up to a V6 Contour (I know I had one) and could outhandle almost any other fwd car available. Add the ACR suspension option and it was an amazing car. Not as fast as the SRT-4 I suppose, but I still wish it was called a Neon SRT.

Actually they're finally here. At work last week I saw a yellow one (not M plate either) cruising south on Woodward just past 14 mile.

Some people are bringing them from Florida, California, adn a few other states. No joke. I don't think they are in Michigan yet. Most dealers have not even had their SRT training yet. I have been calling them all constantly.
Actually, I saw one black one and I talked to the guy on www.srtforums.com. He was from Monroe and brought it up from Florida.

I guess that could very well be. What dealerships have you called though? I spoke with the new car sales manager at the Dodge dealership on Telegraph at 12 mile (I think?) and he said they were ready to be taking orders and would be one of the firsts to get the cars. This was way back in December though, so I'm not sure if that was true or not. If you havn't called them I'd give it a try. The only thing I didn't like about the car was the leg room in the drivers seat. Passenger side had plenty of leg room (I'm 6'1) but the drivers seat was just a bit cramped for me. The performance was just amazing though.
