Dude, you would get like almost no sleep. Drive down with Joe and Hector (I think Steve is going too). Live dangerously--take Friday off.

WHAT!!!! What party could possibly be more fun than hanging out with us CEGers?????????
I don't understand....I think we need to stage a kidnapping.
But whatever is whatever!
And HEY I AM GONNA POST THIS HERE! What is up with all the Contiques I am seeing around Huntsville here that have not said or posted anything here. If you live in Huntsville, show up! We will then take five minutes out of our busy schedule to register you to the site and then all is well!
Don't forget we still may have some cars that are local that may show up for both days of the meet.
Hey Spring Zingers! I know this is impromtu and it SUCKS that SZ03 didn't happen, but to those of you that had planned to go to the meet, come to this one! It may not be as cool as what they had planned but hey, it is a meet! SHOW UP! We need someone to post on this...I think I may and see what happens.
So we are winding this up and we will make sure that everyone is up to date....
Thanks

Ok kids, it's been a while, so here's a little Eric Update:
Doc-did you send me directions in a PM to the Ford museum? I've slept since then, and I don't remember.
I saw MYSVT at the drag strip Friday night. He wasn't racing because his secondaries were stuck shut. I told him about the meet and he said he would try to go, but he couldn't give a definate yes.
That's right gang, I raced my stock automatic v6 at the 1/8th mile track! I ran damn well, I think, although I have no idea what cars run on the 1/8 mile, just 1/4! Anyway, my best time was:
R/T: .872
60ft: 2.506
330ft: 7.047
594ft: 10.101
1/8ET: 10.788
1/8MPH: 65.51
My friend Josh and his SVT Focus ran a best of 10.34, IIRC, and my friend Lacy in his slightly modified ZX3 ran 10.68, also IIRC. Josh got an R/T of .542, so we had to hear about that all night.
Out of a total of 9 (that's right! 9 runs in one night!) 3 were BYE runs cause there was some oil in one lane. I raced two ricer Hondas, one in particular was a red Civic hatchback, with black rims. He ran a 10.450 ET with a 1.292 R/T, I ran 10.931 with a .802 R/T, so I won by .009 seconds! I smoked his ricer ass! Today when I was leaving work, I saw the same car, he still had the big number on his window and I just started laughing. I thought about turning around and chasing him down, but he might be pissed about loosing to a stock automatic family sedan. So that's my new addiction, drag racin at the 1/8th track in Brainerd. (Chattanowhere locals know where it is) That was the best 20 bucks I've ever spent!
Ummmmm......What was this post about? I forgot.
Oh yeah! I bought a new truck today. I got a 2000 Lightning. It's kind of an ugly color, I'm prolly gonna repaint it soon. I think it'll look nice deep navy blue; an homage to my first car. RIP blue car. Anyway, I already lowered it today, it's about a 3 inch drop. I'm also gonna put on some 20" Roja wheels, but I can't remember which model right away. I don't have any pics yet, but I'll be sure to post some or even bring it to the meet!
I bet you're thinking: How the crap can Eric afford a Lightning (even used!) with an already 5 grand per year insurance premium!??! Well kids, the secret is......it's 1/21 scale! Hehehe, I bought it for 15 bucks! The best part is I can afford to work on it and I don't have to pay insurance!!!

Everybody watch out! Eric has a "Ten Second Car!". What are we gona do now? Wait, rephrase that... What are the tree's going to do now? Just joking with ya man! I was really against running my car at the 1/8th mile track there in Huntsville, but I might have to take a few stabs at it. Have to wait and see how the money is doing an we will see. With my partically plugged bank 1 precat though, I have to keep it pretty cool for it to run hard. I really don't want to screw up and make a big dufess of myself in front of everybody. Wait! I already do that, so I might not have too much to worry about. I have been doing some runs in some empty lots and have noticed that 2-3 shift at very high RPMs is pretty rough. Gotta get some of that Lucas Tranny Fix in there!!! What the hell was I talking about? Eric? Whatever you are doing is starting to rub off on me and that is not good. I don't need anymore help. I have my ponytail tight enough as it is! Anymore and I will soon have a migrain!

Oh Phil that hurt! OWW! I fell in the floor! Ah! I'm bleeding! Son of a bit.........wait, damn you Phil! I'll get you yet! Yes I do have a 10 second car! Hahaha! I'll own you all! There was one CSVT there and he was too scared to race me! Well, scared or stuck secondaries, I don't remember. My 10 second car and my 10 dollar Lightning own you all!!
Hector-you have a faster car because you've got....ummmm...what do you call 'em? Mods? Yeah, that's it! See, I haven't spent money on go stuff, so I can't really improve on that time aside from losing more weight off the car. I can't afford to lose any weight, I'm already a little guy! I'll run with no clothes on next time, maybe that'll get my time down. No, that's a bad idea, it got really cold Friday, so I won't be very happy. I'll look like this-> . I think the more rice my car ate, the faster it ran! Well, I think I was just getting the hang of the lights so my R/T's were improving, too.
I got a blister on my eyeball from all the pollen yesterday. It hurt and I was sad. My mom was freaking out because she used to work at an optometrist and had never seen anything like that before. It popped up in a few hours while I was outside washing my car. She wanted to take me to the hospital, but I wanted to finish eating my pork chops and maccaroni. She called the doctor and said I couldn't wear an eye patch with a skull on it because it would make it worse. I had to rinse out my eyes a bunch of times with cold water then it was ok. I took some drugs and fell asleep on the couch. My mom was watching "A Perfect Murder" on TV and she was making a lot of noise cause the movie scared her or something, so I woke up and went upstairs and fell asleep on the floor of my room. I hate pollen. My nose is runny right now and I don't feel good. I'm going to go work on my truck now. Good night SECEG!!!
