Oh yeah, on an almost slightly serious note, a friend of mine is looking to buy an SVT. I just started looking around for one for him, he said he'll at least try to make it to this meet to check out the nice cars. All he sees is my automagic fun box and his sister's ragged to hell 00 Zetec. On a side not, this same guy was my passenger when I wrecked my car! Now he wants to buy one that's faster than mine?!!?

ok i know i said i was gonna post directions...and i promise i will tommorrow i have got everything together...gotta get with doc too....but today is not a good day...
i walked out to my car bright and early this morning at 6:15 to leave for work,and i notice my drivers door is not all the way shut...so i open the friggin' dorr and my friggin'stereo is gone...... the one damn night i forget to lock my doors and my s@#t gets taken...it was nothing special a kinda old clarion cd player but still!!!!!!it was mine!!!!!!
the worst friggin' part was they also took my dash trim and all that too!!!!!! and the other worst part since the guage lights dimmer switch is on that panel too,they won't light up now....and the other worst part i probably won't have time to replace it before the meet....and that friggin' sux...oh well enough ranting...i will post directions tommorrow,and all the final details...so hold tight...

that would be mighty cool of you man...i know how to fix it...but your help is apreciated...please look around the junk yards for me though if you can...all the ones around here wont't let you roam around and find the stuff you need anymore...and if it ain't logged in their computers they claim to not have it...really sux....i have to go and buy me a new cd player now though,i set the pos factory tape deck in there for now,even though there's nothing really holding it in place...i am searching the net now for the trim,but if you happen to find one let me know...thanx...
I know there's a couple of 98+ Tours at the junkyard I usually go to. I don't know what they'll charge. What all do you need? The trim piece and dimmer switch? Anything else missing/broken?

Chris-I think these are the only two parts you need-the trim cover and the dimmer switch. Again, correct me if I'm wrong. Both from www.fordpartsonline.com -Instrument Panel Compartment Trim $23.77, Instrument Panel Switch Assy $13.24. I can get these for this price from my Ford dealer here in town cause I know a guy that works there and I've bought 4 cars from him, so he gives me cost on parts-kinda like 'thanks for puttin my kids through college' kinda thing, you know? Anyway, that's $37.01 for new parts from Ford. I'll look at a junkyard maybe even tomorrow if I'm not too busy or it's not raining.
