just noticed that the article was in relation to the zetec, but i imagine that there would be the same thing, or something similar that regulate idle with the AC is on, on the v6.

Just happened to mention to a friend at work this morning that my car was acting goofy. She said she just hung up with her mechanic friend. They are going to lunch today, so she said when he gets here she will ask if he can take a look or at least point me to a possible problem.

I will post again when I find the problem to help other fellow Contour people out.
