I have been posting my story for the last couple of months now.
It all starteed with a grinding noise into 2nd ear when i let the clutch up. I took it to the dealer
nd they tld me thatsince i had a B&M shortthrow in it they wouldnt look at it under warranty.
i have since changed the shifter and brought it to another reapair shop they said that it was a synchro
NOw i am going to try and take it back to ford and see if they will repair it under warranty with
the original shifter in.
My problem is, they said that if itis the transmission then they have to take it out and
send it to ford in ohio or somewhere and then ford will determineif thetransmission was beat on or not.
Ifit wasnt then they will repair it if it was i guess i am up the creek. I just bought the car from
guy about a 7 months ago and have no clue if he beat on it or not. Now I will have to take my chnaces
with ford.
Should iskip the process of the nightmares with ford and just give it to terry haines.
I ask this because i really have no money after i bought the car and have been just getting by. I am stillin school and
my jobs jsut barely pay for insurance and little spending. I cant afford to pay 900-2000 dollars
I really dont know what to do, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
