This is very common on mid 99's or later. You should notice the problem when you have ¼ tank of gas or less. The problem is the filter on the fuel pump assembly. You can look at the fuel pump replacement how to learn how to get at it. All you have to do is remove the circular filter on the bottom of the assembly. The tough part is getting to it.
