Mine made that sound and they replaced the motor under warranty. Its a click, click, click sound and when it got REAL bad it would only open part way and then I closed it. Being curious I had to see if it was just a "clich", yeah right, this time it only opened a 1/4 of the way and I didn't think it was going to close, but it did. Although it was under the factory warranty, I'm glad I have ESP
Another thing that I think is bad for the motor is when you open the moonroof and it stops and a little part of it doesn't go all the way in, I would hit the button a little more and make it go all the way in and sometimes it would make another click, click, click sound if you held it for too long
, what a dumbass I was! I'm not sure if that was really bad for the motor, but I'm not doing it anymore, as far back as it goes is how its staying
