I have been thinking of what kind of tires to get in 215/45-17. First I was thinking about all-seasons after my "fun" winter spent sliding around on my stock KDWs. I notice many people have the
Pirelli P7000 SUPERSPORT. But the reviews and ratings seemed to show that they are lacking performance-wise. So I did a search on Tire Rack for their ultra high and high performance all seasons and these looked the most promising.
1.
Continental ContiExtremeContact ($87) - new? very good ratings/reviews but very little feedback could be misleading
2.
Sumitomo HTR+ ($98) - pretty respectable ratings overall
3.
Bridgestone Potenza RE950 ($137) - not as much snow traction as the other two but seem to do pretty well in the others
Anyone have comments or suggestions?
