It's interesting (and for a Lexus would look really nice), but it doesn't follow the traditional style of a BMW 5-series. Where are the straight, boxy double-oval headlights of old? This reminds me of the Taurus/Sable redesign of 1996: very nice design yet does not seem to carry the car's reputation at all. (fwiw I like the 3rd gen. Taurus, but it still doesn't seem right bearing the Taurus name.)
