I was just thinking that maybe for your year model that glass LED thing could be your MAF. I'm not sure for your year. I have read that the MAF was redesigned and I don't know what the new design looks like. Make sure you indeed have a dirty MAF, as this entire conversation may be mute for your year contour. Your symptoms due sound like a dirty MAF, but like anything, it could be a number of things. If you had a check engine light on, then it would easier to view the codes for the error. I'm sure its due to low fuel intake (lean situation).
