I went to my initial court date on May 5, and entered a not guilty plea. My pre-trial hearing with the city attorney is June 3. I have a lawyer who's doing the work for free as a personal favor to my family (he got a good chunk of change for taking on a case for my parents). He guaranteed one point off, which is all I really need, but he's going to try for a little more.
As I said before, if it wasn't for the fact that I'd have a suspended license if I'm found guilty, I'd probably try to fight it. For now I'll count my blessings and stay at 5 over the limit maximum.
