The problem is that if I get the original fine, the points will be too much and my license will be suspended for at least two months. I don't know if the risk is worth it at this point. I think what I'm going to do is this: when I arrive for my court date I'll see what they offer for a no contest plea. If they don't offer a reduction in points I'll plead not guilty and try the Tipmra, otherwise I'll take what they give me and actually try using the Tipmra when I get a speeding ticket and the stakes aren't quite so high.
