You probably should not skip gears, I would imagine that it would wear down the 3rd gear synchro faster, it would probably have to do alot more "syncronizing" to get the gears to come together. Have you tried the trannie coctail yet? if this is really happening when its cold, the trannie coctail would probably help. I would not be skipping past 2nd gear though... -Nick
