COOL! Now I have two more question.....
With the part number found here on Contour.org do you get 1 or 2 cupholders for the $21? I tried to call Bill Jenkins and ask him, but I haven't had any luck getting ahold of him, the other parts guy didn't know.
For a 98 Contour, what are the new cupholders? Just taller rubber inserts?
Thanks, Matt.

I have a 98 SVT and the piece you order is one big black molded piece of plastic that inserts into both cupholders. It' makes your cupholders much deeper and more solid. Super easy to install:
Remove the rubber insert from the one old cupholder, stick a strip of sticky velcro in the bottom of each cupholder and then press the new unit over top to lock into the velco.

I'm sure there are clearance issues with the holder and the bottom of the radio/HVAC bezel ... I have them now with "Value" sized soda's (Chick-fil-a & others). I am investigating another alternative.

With Wendy's largest cup, it easily fits in the passenger side and you only need to tilt the cup very little for the drivee's side.

Dude, I fit those value sized chik-filet things in NO PROBLEM! Yes, the top is right up againts the HVAC top, but it's a snug fit, and you just angle it to get in/out. . .you shouldn't be drinking and driving anyways I like that it fits tight with those value-size drink cups, holds all my diet coke in better. . .

I might have one at home. My car is in the shop for tranny work so I can only look for pics on my home PC.
I'll check when I get home.

Yes, there is a revised cup holder for the 95 to 97 Contique. It is a single, not a dual, so if you really feel that you must have a dual you will need to keep the original or search the wrecking yards since the dual is no longer supplied by Ford. The new cup holder is much studier than the original. It is also a bit bigger and will hold a larger cup. You will also need to purchase a new bezel for the cupholder. It seems like the new cupholder with a bezel runs about $75.00, but I have not priced them for a long time.

Ditto.
Forgot that was my first mod...along with the trunk cargo net, wheel locks, locking gas cap and drop-in K&N.
