I thought the same way you did. But that was because I was used to the 5.0L I had. I had 3:73's in that and it was perfect IMO. A buddy put 4.10's in his '99 GT and holy crap it woke the car up. Went from running 14.4's to 13.9's. The RPM's are only 250-300 higher than stock. I am glad I went 4.10's and would actually consider the 4.30's. You will have to go for a ride and see for yourself. I will find out at the track soon enough if it was worth it.

I know though I am going to be nervous if I line up against you. 99 MPH is no slug. With a 2.0 short times I can see 13's out of that beast.
