My 98 SVT, which has the newest revised transmision with only ~20,000 miles on it(all freeway)started to make a strange noice upon using 1st gear. It only occurs when I relese the clutch in first gear for the first time of the day. Noise starts when clutch is starting to engage with the flywheel, and stops a seconds after engaged. It is very hard to describe. The car shifts fine, with out any of the cold shift problem.
