i once seen a intake for our cars at a car show i was at . the intake was amde by trick flow ....i have never seen such shotty workman ship in my life ...this intake had casting pits the size of the grand canyon ...god know what would happen if it was ever subjected to boost ...it would more than likly gernade .....the rep that was showing me the part siad it made a extra 15 hp at the wheels i just cant see that happening not with that poor of a casting ....i my self was going to replace the stock manifold but now im keeping it for the folowing reasons...

-its already gasket matched being its a composit materal
-lest heat soaking as compaired to an aluminum peice
-more smoother air flow being the stock one is ijection molded (no casting pits)
-its just plain lighter than the alunimum intake

the only down fall i have seen is a good back fire though the intake can explode the plastic intake ..when the aluminum one will take it ....also runing high boost on a plastic intake may not be a good idea high being anything over 15psi
