Ok, onward from my previous post.

I made the car start - it had a hideious noise when cranking, but it started. Subsequent starts it does not make a noise. (98 SE Sport V6 ATX)

The problem is it idles at 1300 rpm. It will accelerate up to 4000 RPM, but then runs rough up to about 4500. At 4500 it acts like it hits the limiter....

I'm going to clean the throttle body and IAC, replace the fuel filter. Anyone else have any ideas?

Thanks!
Scott

Ford cannot build a car like this (1966 tbird) today because the US government says it is not safe. It has no crumple zones, air bags, or other safety features such as what you'll find in say, a new Toyota. But hit a Toyota with one of these and see who loses!
