The title got me reading and the twist kept me here. I am a History Major with a minor in PollySci. I will have a job real quick after I finish up, ha.
I suggest that anyone who doubts that this country was founded by WASPs, who totally revered and exalted God, a Christian God, read the very first prayer by our founding fathers...
"Oh Lord our heavenly Father, high and mighty King of kings, and Lord of lords, who dost from Thy throne behold all the dwellers on earth and reignest with power supreme control over all the kingdoms, empires, and governments, look down in mercy, we beseech Thee, on these our American states..." First American Congress Sept. 7 1774.
Any alteration to the Pledge of Allegiance, is due to the fact that it should've originally been there. It is not prostilityzing indoctrination of Christianity. It is simply recognizing that this country has always given God his props, and through Him alone have we trusted. It is also ironic that the Pledge was written by a Socialist Christian, but that is just some Jeopardy trivia.
I am all for reciting the Pledge with "under God", and damn sure support teacher led prayer to the only true God, Jesus Christ, His Father, and the Holy Spirit. It is the only thing that some of these teachers have hope in, as socialist politicians have broadened the scope of educators into parents and police. If the educators are to act as the parents they should bring OUR children up in the ways of the Lord. If you don't like it, have our LEGISLATORS make a law prohibiting it. Don't entrust it to a swollen bureaucratic judicial system that has no accountability to the people of our great representative republic!!
The thing that makes me madder than hell is the fact that we are just content to be stupid sheep. Don't listen to the things you are told by athiestic, marxist professors in our universities, unless of course they are in line with the facts. Opinions are like, you know, and everyone has them and they all stink. Facts are irreputable. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE FACTS BEFORE YOU SPEAK. As my father told me, "it is better to keep your mouth shut and have people assume you are an idiot, then to open it and confirm all suspicion."
GOD bless America, and may He bless our troops, and protect all those who are innocent here and abroad. For those who are guilty; may God's wrath and justice be upon you.
