Good Morning, Hollywood

Reaction to Hollywood's stance on the war, by AFA Chairman, Don Wildmon

Good Morning, Hollywood. Thanks for letting us know where you stand. You hate our God-fearing president while supporting a butcher in Baghdad. You make your living pretending to be something you are not, but now we are seeing the real you.

Good morning, Hollywood. Our sons and daughters are fighting and dying to liberate a country from a ruthless dictator. They are fighting and dying to give others the very freedom you enjoy.

Good morning, Hollywood. Your hatred of our president is so great that you support the dictator who rapes, tortures and murders his own people. You are not acting now. This is the real you.

Good morning, Hollywood. Next time, go to Baghdad and hold your awards show. No, you won't do it because you don't have the courage. You are upset because freedom loving Americans support their president instead of listening to your silly speeches.

Good morning, Hollywood. Some would like for you to be silent. I say keep it up. Keep talking. Let the world see you for what you really are.

And you, Senator Daschle, shame on you.

When this war is over the greatest casualties will be Saddam, Hollywood, and ABC News. The greatest benefactors will be George W. Bush, the people of Iraq, and FOX News. Our president will be remembered long after you are forgotten.

So good morning, Hollywood. Thanks for showing us the real you.

And as upsetting as they are to you, I close with these words: GOD BLESS AMERICA.

Blah, blah, blah.....

I love it when people take stuff as black or white.

So if you don't support the war....then you must be pro-Saddam........riiiiiiight!

You know people....it's possible to not believe this war was necessary, while supporting our troops while at the exact same time believing that Saddam is a bad, bad man!

Why is this so hard for people to stomach?

The only way we'll know if this war was justified will be in hindsight.

Ten or twenty years from now.....when the Middle East is all Democracies and gas is $1 per gallon again...and Afghanistan is modern country...then the war was justified.

However...ten or twenty years from now....after numerous suicide bombings in shopping malls and subways and other 9/11 type events...and various terrorist attacks all across the globe on US and British interests...followed by a world war with the West vs. Muslim nations.....then this war probably will be considered a blunder in history.

I hope that the first scenario happens, I really do. I hope the people in Iraq start chanting we love the USA and suddenly the entire world sees that Saddam Hussein was the root of all that is evil in this world.

Realistically, I don't see that happening and I fear...to quote a Japanese Admiral "we have awakened a sleeping giant."
