The one thing I know people have problems with the UIM Is getting the Brake booster hose of without Braking It.

any time you seperate parts that have a gasket, you must replace the gasket before re-assembling!

To do this you need to hold the clip down at the top of the manifold (where the hose connects to) with a screwdriver and pull up on the hose.

Does anyone have the part numbers for a 98.5 SVT? I need to do this ASAP!! Or just give me a list of everything I should replace when doing this. My car has about 87,000 on it. Thanks, Jason D.

You will need a LIM gasket, UIM gasket, TB gasket, IAC gasket... Did I miss any? You can use this to help guide you, but it was written for 95-97 motors.

For part numbers, here are the numbers I got from Bill Jenkins (I've lost the list of what number is what gasket, I can guess though, reading numbers off the bags the gaskets are in):F5DZ-9E936-AE looks to be tb gasket,F5RZ-9439-B 2 of these LIM gaskets I believe,F5RZ-9H486-BA 1 package 2 gaskets UIM, F5RZ-9F955-AB labeled bushing, small white and plastic, not sure where they go, also have 2 small gaskets but they came with no part numbers, one is the EGR I think and I forget what the other one is. All these are what Bill sent me when I told him I needed everything to swap from a stock V6 inatke manifold to full SVT UIM/LIM/TB, along with a new throttle cable. Hope that helps at least a little.
