That's why I friggin hate the media sometimes. That totally sucks. I could not BEGIN to imagine how she felt seeing that on tv. The media are such a$$holes.

they were also showing a small pile of dead Iraqis on Monday night. f*cking horrible. seeing a fake dead person in a movie or TV show is one thing, but to zoom in on someone's actual lifeless body (other than an ancient mummy) is disgusting.

I agree. I work for a tv station and I hate the mentality of the media. It's all about ratings. That's why this type of footage and the coverage is on every station. The networks don't want to drop the ball and be the one station that wasn't live when something happened. It is disgusting, because it really isn't about the coverage of war..it's about the ratings and being "first" with information. They could cover the war accurately and completely without being on 24/7.
