Drove it over 120miles recently, ran like a top. Next day, temp started to creep up further than it's ever been...I quickly put on the heat, still works, prob not WP failure....nope, just a hot day and a sticky stat, engine still alive, 'cept it died a few times at a stoplight (embarassing sticky IAC). Still going on all orig parts, 43k but sweating it.....love this car.....hope it doesn't nuke itself, it fit the bikes in the back on the last few nice Chicago days. Driving around in circles, blipping the throttle and watching the temp is a part of the summer fun! Did I mention the bikes fit in the car, oh, yeah, I did....had to yank the handlebars but dey fit! Still love this car but it's not without worries. Oh, and several Hondas, a few Toyotas, and a Malibu wondered what the heck it was but I told 'em it's a Shelby-Verified Tempo (SVT). Thought I'd share.
