I just put 4 tires on at Wal-Mart they sugested what you said and i refused as they are not real good tires, ok if you dont drive too hard or fast
I did some checking and found that 185-70r14 is basically equall overall and doesn't affect ride height or handling or speedo. Went with 4 Goodyear Viva Touring tires (70,000 or 80,000 mile?) 185-70r14 they are about $320.00 complete with install and road hazard warranty for the set of 4. they are really good but could be slightly better in heavy rain. smoother ride it seems than the old 195-65r14 that were on my 1996 GL V6 ATX.
