I've seen the Douglas tires you mentioned at a Super Wal-Mart here in Maine.
Tirerack has some good prices for good brands but I'm leaning toward the local Sears.
Here they carry a Guardsman 40 T/E, 40,000 mile tire they tell me is made by Cooper. Probably the one you mentioned. Here their price is $139.00 for 4 tires plus installation and the usual charges, bringing the total to $206.00. I've been tempted to put some 15" alloys on the car, but will stick to the T/E's in 195/65R14 for now.
