I think what everyone is vocalizing is that they expected a SC 3L to hit 300 wHP because so many other people with 2.5L are hitting in the 270's with SC. I take it you are hitting 270 with the stock redline? That makes a huge difference!!!

keep in mind folks, the S/C runs off the engine. Anything that the engine must turn via a belt will result in a minor loss in HP(approx. 10 HP loss). Turbos are run with the exhaust of an engine, therefore they do not add another pulley to be turned by the engine. Downside to turbos is of course, turbo lag.
