Just wondering why you opted for the SVT cams, the extra duration is not exactly required for the SC. I have a set sitting here, but am going to stay with the 3L cams and see what numbers that puts out.

Not once have I seen the SVT make LESS power then the regular set, I know in theory they should make less then the regular 3L or 2.5 but all the FI applications they always made 30-40 hp less then the SVT, which is bassawkwards from theory! The reg duratec has 9.7 CR versus 10+:1 on the SVT has shorter duration so you should be able to throw more boost at it, but I never saw that.

Plus on a centifugal blower I wanted that power band moved up a ways, which the SVT cams do perfectly.

The turbo 3L will own it as it build power and torque WAY earlier than the SC.

I think my car will be pretty close to Kingers once I dial it in.

Am I the only one that realizes this does no good? Maybe it will be nice to talk about, but I bet track times will reveal a different story. Either way I'm not in a swords battle of who has a bigger one, I just can't wait to get her back!

Thanks for the compliments!

This makes me want to put in the nitrous again, to see if I can beat my 13.868 1/4 mile time.

This is great news. Good job on the car. Your numbers are very realistic and look very safe. As you said safety is #1. It is a car you will love driving and not meant for full out race day. Enjoy your new beast. I will admit I am jealous.

Here is the dyno sheet! Notice the IMRC dip? I don't either helps to be able to move that opening point around

There's a very distinctive secondary dip. I still say ditch 'em.

Low end TQ is over rated. Mid to high end is where it's at for these cars. More TQ down low just makes more tire smoke and wouldn't get the car going any quicker...
